The food was delicious, we ate here three times. It’s one of the few places in Lamu town that actually has a variety of good vegetarian options which we struggled to find in other restaurants. The place is well kept, the staff friendly, would go back.Just one thing - there are lots of cats around the place that don't look very healthy and when I spoke to the staff they said they didn't want to get them spayed/neutered because they needed them as pest control. If you visit and love cats, please try to convince them that a healthy, stable, neutered/spayed cat population is better pest control than a vastly growing and sick one...

The food was exceptional and the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed our meals so much that we dined there twice during our stay. I had the fish curry and crab cakes, both of which were incredibly delicious. When we accidentally left our water bottle behind, the staff went out to return it to us. There were flies but manageable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Lamu.

Great service from Smiley and his team. Refreshing house made juices. We had the grilled fish of the day and grilled crab- both super fresh and tasty! Thanks to Omar, our guide for showing us this spot.Highly recommend

Ordered the octopus in Swahili curry with chipatis and it was AMAZING! So fresh and so much flavor! The restaurant is situated right on the water and the service was amazing. Affordable prices, especially for the quality and portion size.
